Ministry Elective Curriculum

Description: This elective focuses on sharing the Gospel and personal testimonies. Students will learn how to effectively communicate biblical messages, structure sermons, and share personal stories of faith.

Practical Practice: Students will have the opportunity to preach short sermons, share testimonies, and participate in church services. This provides real-world experience in a supportive environment.

Preaching/Sharing Testimony

Description: Students will learn how to create engaging and age-appropriate lessons for children. This includes lesson planning, storytelling, and leading interactive activities to teach biblical principles.

Practical Practice: Students will prepare and present a full Sunday school lesson to a group of children, gaining hands-on experience in teaching and managing a classroom setting.

Teaching Sunday School

Description: This elective equips students with the knowledge and skills to defend their faith. The curriculum includes understanding common questions about Christianity, formulating thoughtful responses, and engaging in respectful dialogue.

Practical Practice: Students will take part in organized debates where they practice presenting logical and theological arguments. They will also engage in street evangelism, putting their apologetic skills into action by conversing with people in public settings.

Apologetics

Description: Students will learn the fundamentals of leading a choir, including conducting techniques, vocal warm-ups, and organizing choir rehearsals.

Practical Practice: Students will help lead choir warm-ups and may also conduct a song during practice sessions, gaining confidence and experience in music ministry.

Choir Conducting

Description: This elective is designed to develop skills in leading worship through music. Students will learn how to select songs, lead a worship team, and guide a congregation in worship.

Practical Practice: Students will take turns leading worship in church services, receiving feedback and mentorship to refine their skills.

Leading Worship/Group Singing

Description: This elective prepares students to share the Gospel in various settings, from one-on-one conversations to outreach events. The focus is on building relationships, communicating the message of salvation, and showing Christ's love in practical ways.

Practical Practice: Students will participate in organized evangelism outings, where they will share the Gospel and minister to individuals in public spaces, gaining experience in real-world ministry.

Evangelism/Witnessing Ministry

Description: Students will develop skills in organizing and leading a Bible study, including creating study materials, guiding discussions, and developing a structured curriculum.

Practical Practice: Students will have the chance to lead a full Bible study session, applying what they have learned about guiding discussions and encouraging group participation.
